That glimmer in your eye, that tingle on the back of your neck, the dark circles under your eyes from those anxious, sleepless nights...all for this. Today's the day, folks, where the 2012 edition of the Mysterious Cuban import, Yoenis Cespedes, is unveiled. The 26 year old, who signed with the A's on a 4 year $36 million contract this offseason, has been gradually eased into the Spring Training regimen by Oakland, presumably so as to ensure he won't melt, turn into a pumpkin, or hurt himself as a result of an off-season with out many games played. Let's see what he's got. Cult-hero Manny Ramirez, who has been in and out of the A's lineup with a sore back of late, will also play and DH today.
The Reds will send out last year's amigo de amigos, Johnny Cueto, for his second start of the Spring. Scheduled to follow are Jeff Francis, Clay Zavada, Donnie Joseph, Kyle Lotzkar, Logan Ondrusek and Brett Tomko.
Lineups after the jump.
