Mark Sheldon reports that Bryan Price is no longer in the mix as a candidate to replace Ozzie Guillen in Miami. He's apparently withdrawn his name.
It's possible the Reds sweetened the deal somehow on their end. But it's also possible that Price wanted no part of that situation down in Miami.
In any case, this is good news. Price can continue his pitcher witch-craft, which spooky this season. Cueto's continued development as a ground-ball ace, Chapman's newfound control and Bailey's breakthrough are just three examples off the top.
