Along with the one-run game record (which has gotten more sane over the last month) and the bases loaded ineptitude, Dontrelle Winless may be joining the pantheon of 2011 Reds Frustration Facts. We all know better than to evaluate pitchers based on win-loss record, but it's statistical weirdness like this that has come to define the season.
Mike Leake has had his bouts of frustration this year, but his production has been pretty even after mid-March: high-3.00s/low 4.00s ERA type stuff. What is that worth to the Reds next year? A lot. And it's a great value in a pre-arbitration player. But hopefully it will be worth less to the team then than it is now.
