Boxy Brown wins the 14th spot on the prospect list. I'm very curious to see how ol' Boxcar does this season. He was absolutely dominant in his time as a starter in Lynchburg, but equally horrible in his time relieving in Carolina. Red Box has one of the best fastballs in the system by anyone not named Chapman, and stuff as good as his is always given a chance to shine. Look for Boxworth to begin the year in the Mudcats rotation, and if the organization is thinking outside the Box, he might end the year in Louisville. This time next year we might even be talking about Johann Sebastian Box as a rotation candidate. Also, one interesting thing to consider: As I was reading a bit about ReeBox yesterday, I came across a pre-draft scouting report on him that said SmallBox tends to struggle in the first inning of his outings. Perhaps that is some explanation for his bullpen struggles? Or am I just opening a Pandora's Box with that argument?
I thought about adding more players to the list, but then I realized most of the guys we've added recently aren't getting many votes, and there are so many good choices left that it would be pointless. You'll get a few more players before it's all finished, but for today, you get these seven guys, and you'll like it. Happy voting!
