Um, guys, the Reds are in first place 140 games into the season. Cool.

Right now, Travis Wood would be my 3rd starter in the playoffs. I've heard some concerns about the number of innings he's pitched, but so far he's only 6 innings over the number he pitched last year. With 4 or 5 more starts left, he might be wearing down come playoff time, but he averages about 15 pitches per inning, which is very efficient, so I'm not terribly concerned. I'll take his performance so far over everyone but Johnny Cueto and Bronson Arroyo.

The last time the Reds faced Jason Hammel, he struck out 10 batters, but the Reds still won and we all still partied to MC Hammer afterward. I wouldn't mind the exact same result today.

The game is not on FSOhio today, but it is being carried on MLB Network for lazy people like me who are at home! I knew quitting my job would have some perks!

Go Reds!
