This weekend, in my power rankings, I did a write-up on the Cincinnati Reds. The Reds aren't ranked as well in the power rankings (which is based on team stats, not wins, losses, or runs scored/allowed) as they are in the real standings, and I investigate why that is. The biggest reason seems to be pitching--a number of our guys have seemingly been a bit lucky so far this season. But who cares? We're winning! Five game lead! Based on extrapolated wins, I still have the Reds beating the Cardinals in the NL Central. Wins in the bank, baby!
