How does Jay Bruce follow up yesterday? I hope it is by letting Joey Votto hit 4 home runs!

Since coming to the Reds in 2006, Bronson Arroyo has made 16 starts against the Cubs. He's pitched 107 innings in those starts (6.7 IP/G), going at least 6 innings in all but 2 of those starts. He has a 9-3 record with just a 2.11 ERA I'd like to say he completely owns the Cubs, but he only kinda owns them as he has somehow given up 15 unearned runs in those 16 starts, or 3.38 Runs per 9 IP, which is still very good. Over his last 5 starts against the Cubs, he has a 0.81 ERA. Okay, maybe he does sort of own the Cubs.

Unfortunately, Randy Wells sort of owns the Reds too. He's notched a quality start in all but one of his 6 starts against the Reds and has posted a 2.58 ERA with a 3-1 record. For some reason, this guy gives the Reds fits. Look for them to change that today.

The Reds have won 9 of their last 10 against the baby bears. Keep it rolling! Go Reds!
