The Reds finally return from their 3 month road trip. It was three months, right? It sure felt like it. The good news is that the Reds went out west with a 2 game lead and come back home tonight with a 4 game lead. I'd say that's a successful road trip, wouldn't you? Now it's time to take care of a little business at home.

The Cubs had been terrible over the last month against everybody whose name doesn't rhyme with Taint Blewus Hardanals. But they finally got rid of Lou Piniella, and now they are going to turn it around and win it all (as long as they keep playing the Washington Nationals, who they swept in 3 games earlier this week). It's a shame for Lou that the Cubs couldn't play better for him this year, but I'm not sad to see them so far down in the standings.

Johnny Cueto needs to get some of that spark back. His last two starts have been shoddy. Would love to see him come out and dominate tonight. We need someone to take over that Jose Rijo role, and it'd be awesome if that someone were Cueto.

Just 35 more of these bad boys left. It's the Reds division to lose at this point. Go Reds!
