I just spent the afternoon shopping for a minivan. The only thing that can make me whole again is a sweep.
It's hard to believe we only have 42 games left in the season. It's also hard to believe that the Reds only have to play .500 ball the rest of the way to win 90 games. Their current pace would put them at 93 wins. If they keep playing at the pace they have for the last 5 games, they'll win 111 games. I'll take that.
Travis Wood comes back to the majors after a 10-day stint in AAA. Hopefully the layoff won't hurt him. He only pitched two innings in his one outing in Louisville. I'd like to see the Reds continue to score more runs than they give up. And then to have the game finish in such a fashion that the Reds have beat their opponent.
I like winning. I hope it continues and the Reds can extend their NL Central lead to 3.5 games, and 5 games in the win column. Go Reds!
