I'd like to say lots of good, exciting stuff about tonight's game, but I can't get past the lineup the Reds are putting on the field:
Cabrera SS
Janish 2B
Votto 1B
Gomes LF
Bruce RF
Cairo 3B
Stubbs CF
Miller C
Leake P

Given Bruce's recent struggles, this is close to the worst possible offensive lineup they could put on the field tonight. I expect them to score 8 runs, especially since the Reds have scored less than 5 runs just once in Leake's last 7 starts.

This will be Leake's first start since the 9th inning implosion by him and Francisco Cordero on July 9th. It's only the second time he's gone on more than normal rest. When he had 7 days of rest, he struggled through 6 innings against the Phillies on June 29. Hopefully his problems were due more to the team he was facing than the rest/rust.

Go Reds!
