Once again we are in the middle of a losing streak and looking to Mike Leake to come through and stop it. Leake has been hit around pretty hard in his last two starts, and the collective set of Reds fans are puckering up nervously in fear that midnight has come for Cinderella. All I hope is that he's something more than a fifth starter the rest of the way. It's the only fair thing to do to a kid in his situation.

Gio Gonzalez is progressing into a solid starter, after two years of struggling at the big league level. The 24-year old lefty is going to a tough one for the Reds to face, especially with so many in the lineup hitting poorly right now. I hate to say it, but this could be another bad night at the ballyard.

Only 2 more 10 o'clock games this week. I'll be happy when these are over. They take a lot out of me, especially when they are losing.

Go Reds! I guess they're still my favorite team, if I have one.
