  • Louisville lost another tough one, 8-5 to Rochester.  Matt Maloney came off the disabled list to start, but after 4 innings, 1 homer, 4 Ks, and 3 earned runs, he was pulled with more blister issues.  Not cool.  Logan Ondrusek did pitch 2 shutout innings in relief.  Zack Cozart was 3-4 with a triple, and Juan Francisco was 3-4 with his 3rd homerun.  Up Next: Sam LeCure takes on Rochester at 7:05.
  • Carolina didn't lose!  Their game was suspended after 10 innings because of lightning, with the score tied 5-5.  Dallas Buck started and gave up 2 runs in 5 innings.  Sean Henry was 3-4 with a walk, Yonder Alonso and Denis Phipps were both 2-4, Dave Sappelt was 2-3, and Kris Negron was 1-5 with a triple and a walk.  Up Next: They'll conclude this game, then Tom Cochran will take on Mobile at 7:05.
  • Lynchburg lost to Kinston 2-0.  Scott Carroll was the hard luck loser, pitching 7 innings of 2 run ball, and Daryl Harang and Josh Freeman combined for 2 innings of shutout relief.  Cody Puckett just keeps on hitting, going 3-3 with 2 doubles and a walk.  Up Next: Curtis Partch takes the mound as the Hillcats begin a series with Myrtle Beach at 6:05 p.m.
  • Dayton lost to Lake County 2-1.  Chase Ware got in trouble in the 8th, and Donnie Joseph came in to try and preserve the lead, but gave up the hit scored the go-ahead run.  The loss was charged to Ware, but DoJo takes responsibility for this one as well.  Chris Richburg was 2-4 with 2 doubles, and Mark Fleury was 1-3 with a walk.  Up Next: Justin Walker takes on South Bend at 6:30.
