  • Louisville won 6-0, behind 5 strong innings from Aroldis Chapman.  Chappy struck out 7 while only allowing 3 hits and walking 1.  Unfortunately all of the strikeouts elevated his pitch count and he was at 90 after 5 innings.  Luis Terrero was 3-4 with a double and homer, and Wladimir Balentien was 2-4 with a double.  His average is up to .241 and he's hitting with power.  Up Next: Travis Wood will likely start in place of Sam LeCure.  Game starts at 7:05.
  • Carolina lost 7-4.  Nothing good with the pitching in this one.  Come to think of it, not much good with the hitting either.  Brandon Yarbrough did go 2-4 with a double.  Up Next: Scott Carroll takes on West Tennessee at 7:15.
  • Lynchburg won 7-6 in 10 innings.  Josh Freeman blew the save in the 9th, but got the win by pitching a scoreless 10th.  Nick Christiani pitched 1 1/3 scoreless innings.  His ERA at Lynchburg is 0.69.  Cody Puckett, Josh Fellhauer, Kevyn Feiner and Miguel Rojas each had 2 hits.  Devin Mesoraco went 3-4 with a double, walk, and his 10th homer on the year.  Up Next: Lance Janke meets Fredrick at 6:05.
  • Dayton lost a tough one 7-6 in 10 innings.  Pedro Villareal started and gave up 3 runs in 5 innings.  3 different relievers combined to give up 4 runs in 4 1/3 innings.  Shane Carlson, Alex Oliveras, and Mark Fleury each had 2 hits, and DiDi Gregorius hit a triple.  Up Next: JC Sulbaran takes on West Michigan at 6:35.
