- Louisville won 6-0, behind 5 strong innings from Aroldis Chapman. Chappy struck out 7 while only allowing 3 hits and walking 1. Unfortunately all of the strikeouts elevated his pitch count and he was at 90 after 5 innings. Luis Terrero was 3-4 with a double and homer, and Wladimir Balentien was 2-4 with a double. - Lynchburg won 7-6 in 10 innings. Josh Freeman blew the save in the 9th, but got the win by pitching a scoreless 10th. Nick Christiani pitched 1 1/3 scoreless innings. His ERA at Lynchburg is 0.69. Cody Puckett, Josh Fellhauer, Kevyn Feiner and Miguel Rojas each had 2 hits. Devin Mesoraco went 3-4 with a double, walk, and his 10th homer on the year. Up Next: Lance Janke meets Fredrick at 6:05.
- Dayton lost a tough one 7-6 in 10 innings. Pedro Villareal started and gave up 3 runs in 5 innings. 3 different relievers combined to give up 4 runs in 4 1/3 innings.
