Todd's been hitting bombs 4evah.
- Louisville beat Scranton/WB 3-1 behind 7 shutout innings from Chad Reineke. Zack Cozart and Todd Frazier each hit their 6th home runs of the year. Frazier might finally be working his way out of his slump. In his last 4 games he has gone 6-14 with 3 home runs. I'd still like to see more walks and fewer strikeouts, but at least he's starting to hit the ball hard. Up Next: Louisville is off.
- Carolina was off. Up Next: Alexander Smit will take on West Tennessee at 7:15.
- Lynchburg won 1-0 behind 7 shutout innings from Matt Fairel. Neftali Soto and Josh Fellhauer each went 1-4 with a double. Cody Puckett was 1-3 with a walk. Up Next: James Avery takes on Myrtle Beach at 10:35 am.
- Dayton lost a tough one, 1-0. Justin Walker gave up 1 unearned run in 6 innings but took the loss. The Dragons offense was uniformly mediocre, as 7 players had 1 hit, but no one had 2. (and only 1 extra base hit, a double by Mark Fleury). Up Next: Tim Crabbe will go against Lake County at 6:30.
