This looks like a dandy pitching match up on paper. Both Johnny Cueto and Fausto Carmona have been strong in their last three starts. Cueto has been particularly impressive, throwing 22 innings and allowing just 15 hits and 3 walks while striking out 23 batters and giving up only 4 runs. That sentence there makes me giddy! Carmona hasn't quite returned to the form he had in 2007 when he won 19 games and took the Indians to the playoffs, but he's still be been a tough pitcher so far this year.

The win last night hopefully help put Thursday's performance behind the team. With Cueto today and Bailey tomorrow, I'd love to see the Reds pull out a sweep in Cleveland. I'm still aiming for a 29-20 record, which means they need to go 5-2 over the next 7. It's gonna be tough, even with weak competition, but I still think they can do it.

The game isn't televised anywhere tonight because of the stupid Fox blackout rules. You will get to watch the Yankees play the Mets though! I know you are incredibly excited about that possibility. If there is one thing the nation loves, it's a match up between two teams from the same city. Does Fox know Americans or what?
