Lots of exciting baseball for you today. The Reds take on the Oakland A's this afternoon as Mike Leake makes his final case for the 5th starter spot in the rotation. I think Leake is still a longshot as the technical factors - more minor league experience and a 40-man roster spot already - favor Travis Wood, who pitches tonight against the Dodgers in Las Vegas. From everything I've read, I think Leake will be the better pitcher over the long run, but anything short of a total collapse by Wood means that Leake will likely be sent to the minors. He'll be followed in this game by Aroldis Chapman and Micah Owings.
