Congratulations to Aroldis Chapman on winning the Proactive Breakout Candidate Award for 2011. We here at Red Reporter think your skin is going to be terrible next year....or something. I don't think anyone really knew what they were voting for anyway. Zack Cozart was initially awarded the runner up consolation prize, but when he came to the door to accept the prize, he was holding a bottle of Clearasil and was immediately disqualified. Bummer, dude.
Now that the lesser awards have been given, all of the tunes nominated for Best Song have been sung by Beyonce, and Gary Busey is sufficiently trashed, it's time to grant the two biggest awards of the show. We'll start with the 2010 Hitter of the Year Award. (note: this is NOT for best prospect, just best position player of 2010)
