I am completely not ready for another game already. The Reds have lost 5 of 6 to the Padres this year, a team that is 35-61 against the rest of the league. It's hard to care when the team plays like this. Why should we care?

Johnny Cueto is second on this team in run support as a starter (min 10 starts) at 3.84 R/G. That tells you right there how hard it is to be a pitcher on this team. There is zero room for error with the pitching staff. None. That can't be a fun environment to pitch in.

The last time Tim Stauffer started against the Reds the only current Reds on the team were Aaron Harang and David Weathers. It was his first career start and he predictably shut down the Reds on 2 runs and 4 hits over 6 innings. He's bounced back and forth in the minors since then and missed all of 2008 after shoulder surgery. Look for a 2-hit shutout from the 27-year old righty today.

This baby's got to be getting hungry...
