Kevin Hart, in 15.2 innings pitched this season, has been the very definition of living lucky. His BB/K ration is 3-1. His WHIP is almost as high as his ERA, and yet somehow that ERA is only 2.30. He's only faced the Reds as a reliever during his career, so given that this is his first start against them, expect him to go 6+ innings and not walk a batter.
Johnny Cueto hasn't been too hot lately, but he looked a lot better in his last start against Milwaukee. He did give up 10 hits in 6 innings that day, though, so I wouldn't call him out of the woods yet. Hopefully he continues to get back on track this afternoon.
It's been stormy here in Cincinnati this morning, but looking at the radar, it looks like we should be fine to play today in Chicago. Not sure whether that is a good or a bad thing.
And it's a four-game losing streak, so you know what that means...
