- In the AAA All-Star game, the two Bats represented very well. Justin Lehr pitched a perfect inning (including a strikeout), and Drew Stubbs was arguably one of the stars for the IL, going 2-for-4 with a 2-R HR. Up next: Louisville comes off the break against Durham at 7:05. Not sure who's pitching, but it's a home game.
- Carolina lost 2-0 behind only 5 hits from the offense to back a goo pitching performance. Lee Tabor pitched 5 shutout innings, bringing his ERA down to 2.91. Don't look now, but that's 11 scoreless innings in a row for Tabor. Jose Castro had two hits, but it wasn't enough. Up next: Matt Klinker tries to continue his solid ways against Chattanooga at 7:15.
- Uhh... do we have to talk about this one? Sarasota lost to Fort Myers 13-0. Rafael Gonzalez apparently let Bronson borrow his jersey, going 1 1/3 innings and giving up 10 runs before all was said and done, 9 of them in the 2nd inning alone. The offense's answer to this outburst? 3 damn hits. Way to go, S-Reds. Up next: Travis Webb tries to keep it in single digits at 7.
- Dayton won 4-3 behind a stellar outing by Curtis Partch. 6 shutout innings, 8 K. Carlos Mendez and Enrique Rojas had two hits each. Up next: J.C. Sulbaran takes on Quad Cities at 7.
- After taking the lead in the 8th and losing it in the 9th, Billings won their game against Orem in the 10th, 6-5. Yen-Wen Kuo led the way for the Mustangs, going 3-for-4 with a RBI, and Thomas Nurre and Tyler Stovall both had two hits and a RBI each. Adian Kummet pitched a perfect 10th for the win, and Donnie Joseph gave up one unearned run in 2 more innings of work. He's got a 0.84 ERA right now. Up next: Shea Snowden takes on Orem at 9:05.
- The GCL Reds lost 3-2. Jefry Sierra had two hits, and Marcos Molina pitched 3 scoreless innings of relief. Up next: They're off today.
