- Sarasota provided some payback after an extra innings loss on Thursday night by beating Brevard County 5-4 in 10 innings. This time, it was the S- coming back in the 9th and scoring the winning run in the 10th, with Jose Gualdron singling in the tying run and Jason Bour winning it in the 10th. Gualdron was 2-for-4 in his Sarasota debut, and Bour drove in two runs going 3-for-5. The S-Reds spread the offense around, as Jake Kahaulelio, Denis Phipps, Jason Louwsma, and Justin Tordi all had two hits for Sarasota. Joseph "The Cycle" Krebs pitched three scoreless innings in relief for the win. Up next: No starter listed for tonight's game at 6, but it's Jeremy Horst's turn.
