2009 - Ross Ohlendorf 2-2 3.24 1.12 10 6

Owings is coming off his best performance of the year so far, throwing 7 innings and giving up only 1 run against the Braves. He has not faced the Pirates yet this year. Ohlendorf has been surprisingly effective for the Bucs this season, averaging more than 6 innings over his 4 starts. His last time out, he went 7 and gave up 3 against the Padres, earning the win.

The Reds lineup (via Fay):
Taveras CF
Dickerson LF
Votto 1B
Phillips 2B
Bruce RF
Hernandez C
Rosales 3B
Gonzalez SS
Owings P

Chris Dickerson gets back in the lineup after clonking noggins with Miguel Tejada earlier in the week. He has hit only .205/.321/.341 in his 53 PAs so far this season, and one could reasonably assume that his grasp on his job is getting tenuous. If Laynce Nix continues hitting the way he's hitting (.310/.375/.621 in 32 PAs) then Dickerson could be seeing more time on the pine pony.
