5-2 Bronson Arroyo vs. 2-5 Jake Peavy. We've got this one in the bag.

What's that? Pitcher records don't mean much? Oh.

I'm going to say it. The Reds desperately need a win today. I don't believe a .500 road trip is satisfactory for a team that is trying to prove that they can win. The two teams they played on this trip have the second and third worst records in the NL. They are a combined 16 games under .500. The Reds may not be a great team, but West Coast trip or not, these are teams they should beat 2 out every 3 times if they are going to be a winning team.

The Reds need Arroyo to come up huge today. If he can go 7 strong innings and the Reds can pull out a victory, the pain of the last two games just might be erased.
