I'm in a rush today, so I'll leave you with some quick thoughts:

  • It'd be really super outstanding if Arroyo can put up a good start tonight. Obviously it's not a make or break start, but I think we'd all rest a little easier if he could prove to us that he's not hurt to the point of pitching for crap all year. He wasn't terrible in his last start, but I'd sure like to see better tonight.
  • Parra is a good young pitcher who can be wild. It would behoove the Reds to not lose their patient ways tonight.
  • A win tonight and the Reds will have a winning record for the first time since April 11th of last year. It'd be nice to see them string a couple wins together here and put themselves a few games over .500 for a bit.

It's odd to say this the night after scoring 7 runs, but I hope the bats wake up tonight!
