It's a matchup of young, hard-throwing Dominican phenoms today. Cueto has been pitching very well of late, but the Reds only have one win in his last 5 starts. He still needs two wins to get to my artificial goal of double-digit wins.
Jimenez is a couple of years older than Cueto and a much wilder, but his ERA is better because he's only allowed 9 HR compared to Cueto's 26. He threw 6 shutout innings against the Reds last month in a game in a game where he only allowed 5 hits (2 by Dunn, 1 by Griffey, Votto, and Bruce). Hopefully the offense can continue to be the juggernaut they've been so far in Colorado.
