Guess what? We get another guy making his first career start. He did make a relief appearance on Friday, allowing a home run to Geoff Jenkins. He's listed as the Cardinals' No. 9 prospect by Baseball America. He sports a mid-90s four-seamer, but his best pitches are his sinking two-seamer and his slider, which BA calls the best in their system. They also say he doesn't locate well, so let's hope the Reds are patient with pitches outside the zone and pounce on the ones that drift over the plate.
