Carlos Guevara must have personally offended Wayne Krivsky

I know some people think I'm too hard on this organization, but it is really and truly difficult to understand some of the moves they make. The big league team needs relief pitching, so why would you make a guy dominate AA for almost two solid years before giving him a shot at AAA?

Maybe Guevara will become a major league pitcher, maybe not, but the Reds have apparently decided he's not good enough to audition at higher levels awfully quick.

My guess is that Krivsky is still a scout through and through, and his eyes tell him Guevara is worthless because of his height and mediocre fastball, performance be damned.

I know most people aren't even paying attention at this point, but man getting swept by the Nats right after essentially standing pat at the deadline might have just been the lowest point of a really bad season. I'm finding it tougher and tougher to find silver linings.
