I think it's altogether possible that the Reds will hire Walt Jocketty this offseason and we'll find out that Krivsky was handcuffed this trade deadline. It's hard to understand otherwise how he couldn't find takers for guys like Scott Hatteberg or Jeff Conine.
This is a really bad baseball team, so it's tough not to be frustrated that they've essentially stood pat this deadline. The only thing making me feel better is the near certainty that if Krivsky had made major moves they probably would have been the wrong ones.
