Reds and Blues reviews the new Baseball Prospectus. I bought it myself about a week ago, and like Doc I just don't enjoy it like I used to. Really inconsistent writing and analysis, plus as Doc notes the production quality has weirdly declined. The publisher used cheap paper for some reason. I don't know, maybe I'm holding them to a higher standard than usual, and I am enjoying the book, just not as much as I have previously.
It's incredible how far Mark Prior has fallen. Not to be a Debbie Downer or anything, but I always try to think about guys like Prior when I find myself thinking of Homer Bailey as the team's savior. You just never know.

John Fay is pretty wishy washy here, but he seems to think that Griffey will be moving to right. I'm starting to think we'll see Hamilton in center on Opening Day, with Griffey on the DL, but we'll see.
