Here's an open thread for Saturday night and Sunday.
Cardinals are up 5-0 in the fourth at the time of this post. Sunday night:
7:30 - St Louis (Reyes) vs. New York (Perez)
Kind of hard not to see the Cardinals heading to the Series at this point, as long as they hold onto their lead tonight. If I were a Mets fan I wouldn't be feeling too good about Oliver Perez going tomorrow night.
Other big news is the Tigers clinching. They're playing some kick ass baseball right now, and I think it's their year. If St. Louis or New York ends up taking the Series from the Tigers I think it'll be a fluky event, because Detroit looks to me like a superior team to both.
