I'm starting to like Detroit's chances of going all the way. Just a feeling.
It's kind of strange how teams sometimes limp into the postseason and then get hot, the way the Cardinals and Tigers have done this year. I'm not sure what to read into that, but I guess it might mean that baseball players start conserving energy if they're pretty sure they're headed to the playoffs.
Weird day today, all around. I can't say I'm too pleased with the Chambliss firing, it seems like Krivsky is tilting at windmills at this point. But it's still early, it's always possible the replacement coaches (for Chambliss and for Ruhle) will be good ones.
