Add Phillies Assistant GM Mike Arbuckle to the list

From Marc:

Thought we might get through today quietly, but it wasn't to be. There is a new name on the GM interview list -- Phillies assistant GM Mike Arbuckle.

Arbuckle, who turned 55 in November, has been with the Phillies since October 1992. He served as scouting director for eight years before adding player development duties to his title after the 2000 season. A Missouri native, Arbuckle spent 12 years as a scout for the Braves before going to Philadelphia.

BA had this to say about Arbuckle back in 2003:

Arbuckle received consideration for the GM jobs with the Red Sox and Pirates following the 2002 season, and should continue to get more opportunities in the near future.

[...]

Arbuckle, 53, revitalized the Phillies farm system after taking over as scouting director in October 1992. He was promoted to his current position in October 2001 after presiding over nine drafts. His track record on high draft picks has been stellar, including Pat Burrell, Scott Rolen, Jimmy Rollins and Randy Wolf.

And finally, a Philadelphia newspaper had this to say about him after Ed Wade was fired by the Phillies:

Came to the Phillies in 1992 after 12 years with the Braves. Helped bring a group of prospects along like Jimmy Rollins, Scott Rolen, Pat Burrell, et al. However, farm system has been weakened the past few years. Would not be a choice that makes an impact with the fans.
