Not terribly surprising

The Reds hate blogs.

I've been told before that Rob Butcher isn't the nicest guy to deal with, especially coming from an online angle, which is a shame because I think that blogs (and RedsZone for that matter) have a great deal to offer the Reds organization.

The Oakland A's, LA Dodgers, Minnesota Twins, and Atlanta Braves have all provided some level of access to bloggers, and I really don't think it's a surprise that all of the organizations listed above can be considered more successful than the Cincinnati Reds.  Being receptive to new ideas and new ways of doing things is an asset, not a liability.
