From the Enquirer:
Reds RHP David Weathers has suffered a torn extensor tendon in his right index finger and is expected to be in a splint for 3 weeks.Weathers will be re-evaluated at that time but is expected to be ready when spring training camp workouts for pitchers and catchers begin on February 18.
Weathers suffered the injury Monday working out at his home.
That's the kind of nagging injury that I could see affecting Weathers for a good chunk of 2006. Something worth keeping an eye on.
