Chris Booker is a free man. Good news.
Not so good news - Joe Valentine is coming with him. Ugh.
Also Miguel Perez and Allan Simpson. Not a ton of logic here, but when do we expect that from the Reds? Neither Simpson or Valentine have had impressive seasons, and Perez has been rocketing through the system for no particular reason. It certainly hasn't been due to his performance.
I would have liked to see Chris Denorfia get a shot, especially over one of the relievers, but I guess O'Brien didn't think it was time.
