Play-by-play man Steve Stewart and the Reds agreed to a one-year contract extension. Stewart, 42, signed a two-year deal Feb. 11, 2004.
I'll admit, I haven't listened to the Reds on the radio a lot this year, but I've liked what I have heard out of Stewart. While I still have love left over for Marty from my childhood, he is getting to where I can barely stand to listen to him. Stewart helps with that, and he seems to always have a handle on things.
