I'm still stunned by the Griffey trade that didn't go through because of Carl Lindner. I just can't believe he'd hamstring the franchise like that.
Kudos to Dan O'Brien, because that was a decent return that he was getting from the White Sox, especially when you factor in the $8.5 million in salary relief over the next three years.
A.J. Burnett is probably going to cost about $9 million per this offseason. But the Reds won't have it to spend now. I really dislike Carl Lindner right now.
