NL West and a Few Notes

  • If the Reds were in the NL West they'd be 5 games out of first.
  • Cincinnati now has a better record than the Giants, Rockies, Dodgers, Pirates, Mariners, Royals, and Devil Rays.  They're only 2.5 games behind the Cubs, and Brewers, 2 behind the Diamondbacks, 3 games behind the Rangers and Orioles, and .5 games behind the Tigers. I'll take it after the horrid start we all had to endure.
  • The Reds are now 18 - 9 since the All-Star break.
  • Cincinnati is tied with the Cardinals for the best offense in the National League (590 runs scored).  They are fourth in all of baseball, behind only the Red Sox, Yankees, and Rangers.
