I like him. He's only 22, and he's putting up solid numbers in AAA. Hopefully the other prospect will be just as strong.
Update: The other player seems to be AA RHP Travis Chick. Here are his career stats, and his 2005 stats. With nothing but the cursory glance that I've done, I have to say that I like the trade. For a two month rental of a 35 year old third basemen I think DanO has done pretty well.
