--- Couple of days old, but it looks like Joe Randa won't be heading to the Indians:
The Indians are looking at some third-base options. They have talked to Cincinnati about Joe Randa, but the Reds seem to want to keep the 35-year-old veteran who is hitting .302 with 12 home runs and 45 RBI. His career average is .286. But if the Reds keep losing, this might change because the Indians do have some prospects to trade.
I'm praying the Indians just didn't offer enough. Surely O'Brien isn't dumb enough to hold onto a 35 year old third baseman when the organization's top prospect is a third baseman at the AAA level. Right?
