From minorleaguebaseball.com:
Thomas Pauly, a prospect in the Reds system, first came into Spring Training and needed shoulder surgery. Unfortunately he's going to miss the entire year, which is a shame because he pitched exceptionally well last year in his first full season. He should be back for 2006. At least that's the hope for the Princeton product.
Disappointing news. I had Pauly as the Reds 8th best prospect last offseason, and it's a real shame to see him have a setback. Shoulder injuries seem to be the nastiest, so hopefully he'll be able to battle back.
