Dodgers lose reliever Kuo for NLDS

San Francisco, CA (Sports Network) - The Los Angeles Dodgers will be without one of their reliable arms out the bullpen, Hong-Chih Kuo, for their first- round playoff series with the Chicago Cubs.
Kuo underwent tests for an apparent circulatory problem in his left arm, and though the results came back negative, the lefty will undergo further tests this week as a precaution.
Kuo has pitched just once in the final three weeks of the regular season, but the 27-year-old has thrown 80.0 innings in 42 appearances, sporting a pristine 2.14 earned run average with a 5-3 record.
