Recap: Washington vs. Florida

Washington, DC (Sports Network) - Thursday's scheduled game between the Florida Marlins and Washington Nationals was cancelled because of rain.

It was slated to be Washington's home finale. Instead, the Nationals finished with a home record of 34-46.

Washington continues its season Friday in the opener of a three-game series in Philadelphia. Collin Balester, who was supposed to start Thursday night, will take the mound against the Phillies on Friday. Also on Friday, Florida opens a three-game set at Shea Stadium against the Mets.
