Tigers' 1B Cabrera departs

Detroit, MI (Sports Network) - Detroit Tigers first baseman Miguel Cabrera departed from Monday's game against the Kansas City Royals due to upper back tightness. He's day-to-day.
Cabrera came into the game having already established career highs with 36 home runs and 125 RBI to go along with a .295 batting average.
Jeff Larish replaced Cabrera in the field in the top of the third inning.
