A question for Cincinnati locals (and the Diaspora too): In you opinion, what are the best places in Cincinnati to catch a Reds game other than GABP itself? Sports bars, etc.

As long as several other people are drinking and yelling TV-ward, I don't have a "problem."

Tommy John for Billy Bray

From Lance Mcallister's Blog:

Reds reliever Bill Bray will return to Cincinnati next week for Tommy John surgery.
He's been on the DL since April 6 with an elbow strain. He's currently in Sarasota where he was attempting to rehab the elbow. He appeared in three games for AAA Louisville this year.

I think the Reds are the sleeper team of the National League, and the main reason is that Adam Dunn and Ken Griffey Jr. are no longer in the clubhouse

The Fay:

USA Today published baseball's payrolls. The Reds are at $74.1 million, 10th in the National League, fifth in the NL Central, 18th in the majors. Yankees check in at $209 million, Marlins at $21 million.

Biggest surprise to me: Corey Patterson is making $3 million. He came in on a minor league deal, but must have gotten a big bump for making the club.

Yikes.

"That's a $4,000 question I've been trying to answer since I got into this game," Baker said.
