Notice those are Reyes' stats from last season (and his career totals). He was called up to replace John Smoltz. Two of his 11 appearances last season came against the Reds, and he gave up 9 runs in 9 innings. He's been terrific in Richmond this season, striking out 25 in 23 innings and allowing just 3 runs. He's a 23-year-old who throws a low-90s 4-seamer, according to BA, and he also has a plus curveball and changeup.

Belisle was OK last time out, certainly not as bad as his season debut but not great. He's only struck out 5 so far in 9 major league innings, and he's given up 17 hits. He looked much better in the minors, so maybe he'll come around tonight.

G'Reds.
