Game Thread: Game 151 vs. the Astros

ASTROS PROBABLE: REDS PROBABLE:
Roger Clemens (6-5, 2.52) Bronson Arroyo (14-9, 3.17)
Figured I'd get this up now so that you guys would have a place to congregate in the morning/early afternoon before the game.
I'm betting the Astros are regretting the whole giving Roger Clemens a truckload of money for a half a season thing at this point. Didn't really work out for them.
Does anyone else get the feeling Clemens could probably pitch into his 50's? A team could have him and an elderly Randy Johnson only showing up on days that they pitch, staying home with the family during road trips. Maybe sign a 60 year old Julio Franco to play some backup first. Then hook up a sweet senior citizen discount and make a killing at the gate.
Anyway, the Reds are a game and a half up on the Astros. A win today would make it two and a half with just 11 to go.
Go Reds!

Nice catch, Ryon!
Jerry's Kids for today
Freel CF
Olmedo 2B
Hatteberg 1B
Dunn LF
Ross C
Clayton SS
Castro 3B
Denorfia RF
Arroyo P
Okay if BP is out which I understand, and you give Aurilia a day off, you really need another power bat. Why not put Freel at 2nd, Denorfia in Center and Hollandsworth in right? I mean its sad Todd Hollandsworth is out best power option right now anyway, but Id feel better with him in there instead of the three headed monster of Clayton,Castro, and Olmedo.
Astros run out the same lineup they used in game one. Atleast Garner attempts to try and win one.
Blech.

Sad isn't it?
This is really mean to say, (and I hope untrue) but I wonder if Rich doesn't want to take an 0-Fer against Clemens to keep his average at .300 . Gotta believe with the playoffs out of reach unless a miracle occurs that he will become the I player instead of team player the last 2 weeks. His '07 is a Mutual option, and if he ends the year as a .300 hitter, no doubt he declines the option and goes for more money.
conspiracy theories!
holy crap, that's ugly!!!
Good luck Bronson. Poor guy.
Where's Edwin?
Being punished...

Last time in the field they about collided Deno called Freel off and afterwards they gave each other a look.
Maybe a little argument in the dugout?
Hmmm...
Are you sure about that statement?

And I'm glad to see that!
This isn't meant to be mean, but
Maybe many of you haven't had this experience, but we have a model to work with - Redszone. A lot of people are very smart on that site, and there is a lot of funny stuff on that site too, but damn, they can be mean to new people when they start posting there. I never had a problem myself, but I saw how they treated people who weren't in on all of their past conversations and I felt sorry for them. It doesn't happen all of the time, but it happens enough that it made me not want to post there anymore.
I think so far, RR has remained very open to new voices, as long as they are not hostile just for the sake of being hostile. Plus, I think RR is built on the premise of being a fun place to hang out (your corner bar, if you will). I came in late to RZ, but I think it is more like a country club - sure they have fun, but there's a lot of business type stuff going on too.
Sorry, this was probably deeper than you were looking for, but I thought I would add my two cents.
On a lighter note, check out my wiki on Dental Plan! It's even got a link to the english video!
