On this day in 1995, the Reds signed right-handed reliever Brendan Donnelly. He was originally drafted by the White Sox in 1992. The Reds were his third big league organization. He would have minor league stints with three more organizations before making his major league debut with the Angels in 2002. Donnelly had a very good run with the Angels, including a tremendous season in 2003 when he made the all-star team. He would make stops with four more major league teams before retiring in March of 2011.
