March 11, 2013 - Well, here's one solution to the low attendance problem. Play the Giants more often. Goodyear Ballpark was overrun by Giants fans. It sounded like they were the home team, not the Reds.
It was Tony Cingrani on the mound, against longtime Brave Tim Hudson.
At the dugout rail.
Frazier hit a double off Hudson. One-handed. Would have been a home run if he'd used no hands! (And it almost was. He smoked it.)
Billy Hamilton also hit a double off Hudson.
Jay Bruce makes a nice catch.
"It's simple physics, Billy-boy. What goes up, must come down."
Frazier had a single to go with his double.
Bunting Billy...was out.
Skip had a good day, with a double and a home run.
Actually, I only posted that one because he has such a cute butt.
Jay Bruce leaves the field.
Most of the starters were pulled in the 7th. Except Joey Votto. He got one more at-bat.
Bernadina had a good day, too. Some nice plays in the outfield...
The game ended on a Juan Duran strike out.
Billy Hamilton stayed after the game to sign autographs.
Final score: Reds 5, Giants 8.
