So, as some of you may have heard, the (now ex) wife and I bought 12 tickets to the Sept 8th game against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Since it was one of the "let your kids run the bases" games, we bought enough for her family and mine to witness the occasion.
Then ESPN stepped in and moved the game to an 8 pm start. Too late for my 4 and 5 year old to be out, and too late for my dad and stepmom to travel back to Nashville, TN.
So what to do? Sell them on Ebay or Stubhub? Give them away and eat the money? Take a buddy or two and have a lot of space in between seats? Or, offer them to fellow RRs at face value to see if there is interest in a mini-meetup.
I am keeping two tickets for myself. That leaves 10. I think they are directly behind the Reds dugout (need to verify, Ashley bought them) and the asking price is $35 a ticket. I figure we can either meetup pregame and you can pay me then, or I can meet you outside the gate prior to game time.
Here are the commitments I have so far.
3. Don (maybe)
That's 7 left. MRP's wife may go if there are still seats available.
